I so rarely manage to find time to update *all* of my blogs these days, as I'm busy translating. Which is a good thing. So, I've finally decided how I can keep up this blog as well as the others, and share my favourite book quotes with you at the same time. Ha!

So here it is, Favourite Quotes, Part 1. And why not start off this series by quoting from a book I've translated last year? Here's a description of Stacey de Lacey, a villainous creature from Oliver and the Seawigs by Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre (a book for all ages, very beautifully illustrated and available in stores now, in Dutch too!)

[He was] "a tall teenager, balancing precariously on beansprout legs and about to tumble clumsily into adulthood."

Such a wonderfully poetic description, don't you think?
